Kindergarten Choice Board
In order to be counted present for a Remote Learning Day, please complete at least 3 of the following activities. Upon completion, please submit evidence by way of Remind, email or turning in the work to your teacher within 5 days. Two-way communication must take place in order for your child to be counted present. Have fun, and we can’t wait to see you soon!
The following choice board activities are for Remote Learning Days during the 2025-2026 school year. Your kindergarten student should:
- Choose and complete ONE reading/writing activity;
- Choose and complete ONE math activity.
- Choose and complete ONE social-emotional/music/physical education activity.
- Send all completed activities back to school when students return to campus.

Draw a picture and write a short story about what you did today. |
Count to 100 and practice writing your numbers to 20. |
Write or draw what it means to be a good friend. |

Use a book, newspaper, or magazine and see how many sight words you can find. |
Use toys, coins, cereal, or anything you can find and practice making groups of 10 and counting by 10 to 100.

Physical Education: Workout Challenge—Do 10 jumping jacks, 10 sit-ups, 10 toe touches, 10 squats, and 10 lunges. |
| Read a book of your choice at least 2 times. Write about the setting, characters, and character traits. Turn in written responses. |
Roll dice and use the 2 numbers to create an addition problem or subtraction problem. Solve the fact as quickly as possible. Continue, to improve fluency. (Kindergarteners roll two dice and county all the dots.)

Social Emotional: Write or draw what it means to be respectful.
Music: Sing your favorite song and list all of the words that rhyme.
