To have your child counted present for a Remote Learning Day, please complete two (2) of the activities below. Take at least one picture of you and your child completing the activities and send it to your child’s teacher through the Remind app or email. There will be open Zoom hours at 9:00 am and 1:00 pm to check in with the teacher and/or receive assistance.

| Reading: Read a book to your child in the dark using a flashlight. Give each character a different voice. |
| Art: Using a pencil, crayons, or markers, encourage your child to draw a picture of your family. You draw one too! |
| Social/Emotional: Spend time talking with your child about feelings. What makes you happy, sad, mad, excited, scared, loved, et cetera? |
| Play: Make time for uninterrupted play time with your child. Let your child choose what you play with. Have fun! |
| Outside Time: If it is safe, go outside and play together. You can throw, catch, and kick a ball; ride bikes, look for bugs or birds; start a collection; et cetera. |
| Math: Find items around the house to count. It could be windows, doors, toy cars, baby dolls, rocks, leaves, sticks you collect, et cetera. |
